i've been traveling the country for a few months now and finally came back home. about to start doing my indoor thing again but man, it's been so long i forgot some shit.

First off:
Does anyone have any experience with miracle grow organic choice soil (fertilizer: 0.10 - 0.05 - 0.05)?
Is it a better option than regular miracle grow potting mix soil(fertilizer: 0.21 - 0.07 - 0.14)?

Secondly:
Would it be more efficient to use a mix of 6500K and 2700K CFLs for the vegetative stage, or more efficient to only use 6500K CFLs for the vegetative stage?

I'm planning on having everything started up in one week. Thanks for any and all help. Take care, peace.

I heard that Miracle Grow should be avoided at all possible costs. I was told to throw my soil away. But I havent used it ever so I can not speak from experience. Only word of mouth.

USE ONLY VEG BULBS!!!!!!!!!!! This is for the veg stage. keep them short and compact and it will be more cost effective. Once it hits flowering stage then put mainly flowering bulbs up but you can keep a few vegg bulbs.

This is my perfered method which is in now way a scientifically credible style of growing. Its just what I envision and as an engineer physicist I usually have something going good in my direction

Peace

I'll be honest i use and have used miracle grow and done fine however ive heard plenty of people having problems. I would try to get an organic soil and you wont run into nute burn (probably the reason MG is sometimes bad).

And what he said ^^ as far as bulbs. AKA the blue bulbs are the veg ones 6500K whereas the yellower ones are flowering (2700K)

Alright, so i'll try just using miracle grow organic soil with some perlite. i usually do a 4 to 1 mixture with 4 parts soil and 1 part perlite.
Gonna start off with 6 plants, random bagseed for now. Starting 18/6 veg cycle (2 previous grows have been 12/12 from seed using 2 27k bulbs for every 1 65k bulb.)

I think instead of transplanting this time around, i'm just going to start them off in pots big enough for their entire grow. Will this effect anything negatively? Increase/Decrease harvest? Make plant cycle shorter or longer? Or does it really matter? It seems like if anything it would be better to me.

Thanks for your time.
