Hey guys okay so this isnt my first try at growing inside. Right now i have one plant that is 4 weeks it had some dead leaves on it last week i took them off and last night changed soil and put a 3 inch fan inside of the box. I have 3 more lil babies coming and im hoping one more in the blue can (you will see look at picture) out of bagseed of some fire weed i got the other night :eyesmoke:. The box is about 4ft and 2ft wide. Im running 6 bulbs they are 42watt at 100 150 watt equal maybe one bulb isnt that way. The powerstrips are super glued on the side of the box had issue useing a bigger one so had to go smaller glue wouldnt hold for some reason but still got 6 lights. Inside of the box is whiteish i ran out of paint. There is a intake fan at the bottom and exhuast at the top. I need to make a fitting on the back so i can my a DIY carbon fliter : D any suggestions let me know. The temp is between 70-80 degrees might put another 3 inch fan in there. Any suggestions help would be so nice of you guys im hoping that these are all females and yeild iight amounts. Thanks guys look at the pictures : D. anything i forgot let me know i answer : D

what is your soil mix. your four week old plant looks small to me. I know you took the leaves off from the bottom side of the plant but its height is a bit short for 4 weeks. Your leaves are indicating that there is something wrong somewhere, im guessing its the soil.

Hi,

Your soil it looking a bit rought to me,

I'd suggest a transplant into a quality soil and use a p.h meter, you want your lights 2inchs from the plant too.

With a bit of care she'll pull through,

Peace

I moved the plant away how long should i wait to water few days? What about miracle grow? i have a big ass bag of that. i moved a fan to the bottom of the box to push air up and have the other fan blowing air to the exhaust. Should i take the babies a couple inches away to because i did all 3 pots that i have. Also question how many plants can i do in this box? and how long do i have to wait for : )

Hey Howl,
You mentioned that you were using 6 cfl's at 42w each....what type of lights are they?...2700k or 6400k.?
You need to change that soil man. It looks nasty. Read up on what you should be using and go from there. Transplant them asap before it's too late.
Are you giving them anything besides water?
:peace:

didnt mean to come off as a dickhead earlier man
u got to understand im tryin to quit cigs ;)

seriously ditch the miracle grow.. the only decent product they make is organic bloodmeal

as far as lights go 2700k is supposedly good for flowering, and they say 6000k is good for veg

as far as myself i use a mixed spectrum... 2 lamps @ 3100k and 2 lamps @ 5700k, all lamps @ 46w those color ratings are tricky to find tho you have to order them from an architectual lighting supplier. i use all 4 lamps throughout the entire growth cycle, i usually do 2-3 weeks from seedling @ 24/7, once i have 3-4 nodes i switch to 18/6, and keep it there untill im done vegging. i heavily lst and fim tho so i usually will veg for 2-3 months, then switch to 12/12 lighting for flower untill the trichromes are 30-60% amber. i prefer a cerebral high over couchlock.....

i dont favor the heavy use of nutes. i usually go with lots of bloodmeal during veg for nitrogen, 2-3 weeks before i switch to flower i coat my soil with 1/4-1/2" of hardwood ash and mix it in real good for potassium and phosphorus. sometimes, if im feeling froggy i will use some cal-mag bloom nutes, but i almost never do because i havent noticed a significant gain when using them... maybe its because i baby the hell out of bitches and are already getting the most out of them, i dont know. some people swear by nutes, myself, i think there just another gimmick to spend money on, if you do your job right as a grower you wont be needing them unless your going hydroponic, then there required. unless your mixing organic hot soil i wouldnt bother with fertilizers... personally i think the organic hot soil is the way to go, once you have a good system dialed in you never will have to worry about nute burning, ph, saltlock, flushing or the dozen other things most soil growers sweat about.

the key is experimentation.... find what works for you and STICK with it untill you find a better system or gain the skills to master dwc or bubbleponics ;)

let me way in on this lil delima i do not agree at all people bad mouth shit because they cant grow with it or had trouble with it im on my second grow with mg organic choice and just like the first this one is thriving no trouble at all the only thing is with all mg products you can not be heavy with adding nutes i dont add any during my veg stage i dont need to, check out my babies and see a lot of these cats on here are fancy nute crazy and so forth like steroids thats the problem watch your plant and see what it needs and then take care of it and it will take care of you..my grow 2 blue mystic huge bush @26 days wow mg organic 1 skunk @12 days huge tanks mg and 1 papaya just started @8 days please more mg please. so my point is grow your plant dont let others do it for you research...peace pot prosperity...also they are very small for four weeks if you do change the soil to mg DO NOT NUTE FOR A WHILE!! DO NOT OVER WATER GET YOUR LIGHTS DOWN LOW AND WATCH IT GROW...i use a lil superthrive on one of my slow growerseach watering and wahlah..
