Okay so i have 2 plants i started outdoors, their about 5 inchs now, im bringing them in on cfls, i went and bought a 3 pack of 20 watt soft white bulbs, but their 75 watt equivilent, this is my first grow, could i start with 2 of the bulbs, and in flower use 3? thanks in advance

if i had 3 of the bulbs on the whole time like an inch or so away form the plant, would it be good, id get straight bud and a decent amount ?

its note quite that easy....u need the light to feed it the energy to grow....like i said ul be ok for some veg...but it takes ur girl alot of energy to flower....and u wont get much with 3 20w...if anything ull end with a tall skinny plant

people do em all the time with the 13 watts and shit, this is my first grow im not trying to have a huge one, just a nice little plant that stays healthy, 3 of the 20 watts would work better than one or two of the 13 watts, and i know people who have done it way under 60 watts

If I was you I would use all 3 of the bulbs to start out with. The equivalent doesn't really mean its equaled to a 75 watt bulb. CFL's are just simple brighter bulbs then regular ones. You don't know what your outcome is going to be so don't spend money right now since you have 3 cfls. 3 cfls should work just fine for 2 plants, but if there both female I would get 2 or 3 more 23 watt cfls but thats just my opion.

Okay now i have a 300 watt cfl, is that enough for two decent plants, im growing ina sealed off bathroom, and i cant let my plants get too big, so when should be a good size to let them reach before i start to flower, dont want them huge just a nice little plant, ill get a decent personal amount off of.

With that amount of light its going to take FOREVER to finish flowering. You'll see once you get about 5 or 6 weeks into flower your girl just slows down to a crawl and almost stops growing. There just isn't going to be enough light to satisfy her. But you will discover this for yourself, learn as you grow.
