well as long as you already got one good one in each pot I would kill the extra one. wont be room for it anyway

your tub need to be deeper, maybe 5 gallons?

also need more light if not now then later

Looks good man, ya what he said, you need more light. And are you planning on vegging them to 2ft cause if so when you flower they will almost double in size, not accutally double but close to it. I started off with hydro and cfls and then wanted to learn soil first and got an HID 400w HPS it really makes all the difference. I'm not downing the cfls just saying (I am being forced to go back to cfls for stealth for the time being so...........)

hahaha thats a hard question to answer.... They aren't cheap to tell you the truth. Best thing would be to spend your money on something NOT CHEAP so it will last and you are ensured accurate readings. The more money you spend on these things accutally do matter unlike other things lol. Try and find a ph/ppm combo meter.

no you cant use the directions,

always nute half what the directions say maybe even 1/4 what they say when the plant is small

trust me i use those same nutes

you can get a cheap ppm meter

go to eseasongear on ebay he has such cheap prices for the blue hanna meter.

anyway if your ppm goes up after your plants soaked in it for a day or two means u got too much nutes in there

if the ppm goes down after your plants soaked in it for a day or two means u dont have enough nutes in there

u want the ppm to always be the same regardless of how mucgh water the plants drank, cuz that means u have the perfect amount of nutes in there and the plant is drinking the water and the nutes together and getting its perfect dose.

my plants triple in size after I flower

it all depends on the strain

""OK, found a little info on what I want to try. Figured I would share
Timing clones
by Ed Rosenthal
There are several ways of slowing down the growth of clones. The first is to delay planting. You can store the cuttings in the vegetable chiller section
of a refrigerator in a plastic bag, the way you’d store lettuce for about two weeks or longer. This will weaken the clones a little and they will have
a lower strike ratio. However, it may be a worthwhile trade-off. After the clones are cut they can be left unpruned or trimmed for planting. Then dip them
in a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution to sterilize them to prevent infection. A 1% solution is made by diluting one part drugstore hydrogen peroxide to two
parts water that has been boiled and cooled. When you are ready to plant just take the clones out of the bag.

The cutting state is perilous for plants so a good environment that promotes active growth minimizes risks. Once the cuttings have formed roots and are
growing new leaves, their metabolism can be slowed down. There are a number of ways to do this. Plant metabolism and light requirements slow down in a
cool environment. At 45-50°F (8-10°C) the plants remain in a nearly suspended state. They require only 150 watts of fluorescent per square meter (15 watts
psf) and very dilute fertilizer. When you are ready to jump start them, place them in a warmer environment with brighter light and more fertilizer. They
will quickly respond to the change in the environment.

Even if you can’t cool the clones to 50°F (10°C), you can decrease the intensity of the light and provide diluted water-nutrient mix. The growth rate will
slow.""

has anyone heard of this? does it work? and is their an easier way
