CFL question

okay so my first cfl grow is going really well, other than mild clawing that is more than likely a result from the high nute packing fert im feeding it.
(dilluted of course) it is currently 9" tall and VERY leafy which leads to my next question, seeing as tho cfl light penetrates the leaves poorly, should i trim some of the smaller leaves to allow more light? and when should i ideally put this baby in flower??20140729_104154_HDR.jpg

dont trim.. how many watts you using? ... you got nice 9 9pointed leaves.. which means so far youre doing alright.. leafs are your indicator of whats up... my thoughts are you arent compensating for the plant getting bigger and the lights youre using.. as a once before cfl grower.. look into what you really need then price out a cheap hps system.. 400 watt hps would do you right.. apollo and ipower are really cheap.. and if you got the cash grab yourself a lumatek

thank you for the responses everybody, im using 4x23w 65k mixed with 3x14w 27k on 24hrs of light. I actually never intended on growing inside, this was a VERY slow growing plant from outside i decided to experiment with. I had most of the equiptment at home and work so i decided to give it a crack. I already intended on upgrading my lighting but thats not possible right now & this Cfl along with 2 clones i made from it are the only thing i got goin on inside at the moment so, anyways if i dont have to trim im just going to install some side lighting but wouldnt that be alittle overkill right now for a 9" plant? and nobody answered my question, When should i start flowering her? shes in a 2'x2'x10 closet. again thank you all
