CFL Questions

I Was at Giant Tiger, and i was checking out the lights they had and everyone on rollitup told me to buy 2700k for flower and 6500k for veg and all i can find is 2100k and 4100k ones? will those work?

i think its funny that theres a lot of stores named "large animal" we had big bear now giant eagle you have giant tiger.............

From reading: According to the light spectrum 2100 might be a little low but doable however the 4100 is in the part of the spectrum that the plants do not "see" Do U have a walmsrt? They have t12 and t8 flouro tubes in both 2700 and 6500 and of course 23w CFLs is 2700 and 6500.

Like everyone else says, the 4100 and 2100 will work but they wont yield as much as the 2700 and the 6500 counterparts. Just use the highest spectrum for vegging and the lowest for flowering that you can find. Apparently using both spectrum during veg and flower is best but thats more heat and money spent on power.
