CFL vs flourecent

Hello,
as i was sitting trying to study for my exam, i thought of a nice setup for a grow box, BUT

it involves flourecent lights, if i want it to work especiially neat and nice.

PROs and CONs? are florecents good enogh? (i am talking about the long slim ones)

Umm... what? Are I talking about T5's t8's or t12's? Or are u talking about the u shaped ones? but yes there good enough if u have enough. The more watts the better I'm using a single 125w for 4 plants it have 9500 lumens. And I'm using it in a 4sqf area so thats.2375 lumens a square foot which is low. U should look for 3 to 4000 lumens a square foot but my plants are doing amazing.

these ones, t5 or t8
are they good enough for plant life? or i should change between veg and flower also?

just one.. i dont think.. would be good enough for veg.. try.. 3 of those.. over the top then.. switch to 2700K for flowering.. but u will need alot more for flowering then.. 3 t5s.. i mean.. sure it will work.. but.. im sure you want quality.. just do what you can afford right now.. start wiith that.. then upgrade and add more lights as you go.. thats what ive been doing i started with 2 27w full spec. bulbs for one plant.. then worked up to 8 27w ones.. then bought a closet.. now i have.. two t8s 4100K for my cuttings.. then those same two 27w bulbs for... early life after rooting. then.. i have.. a 125w 6400K CFL in a bright wing reflector.. for veg. and.. for flowering i have.. two 2700k 3 foot t5's on two sides.. one.. unknown two foot.. t8 from walmart on the back wall. and.. 3 domes hanging from the top with two 23w 2700k bulbs in each.. soon to be.. a 250w 2700k bulb and reflector. and ill just use the domes.. well for... shop lights.. and or.. back up lights..

i am thinking about the t5 and t8 because they are easier to install above the plants and take less space. and if i want a light for a design that is a box with a lid that has all the lights on it so these lights are most stable i guess.

if anyone has links to a design room with foloros like this i will be very happy, all i have found so far is CFLs
