changing from 5000k to 6400k 5 days into grow.

  • so there was a mix up with the lights, but now my lights are here. i have been using 2 5000k 1600 lumens 23 watts. i am switching too 2 6400k 1800 lumens 25 watts. do you think that it wall cause a problem. 4 seeds plants all 4 sprouted and are about 1.5-3 inches high.​

^exactly. CFL's grows are so slow, get maximum lumens. get Y splitters if you dont already, then you could double your light in there. I use 2 125watt cfls with 4 25watt 6400ks and 2 42watt 2700ks for my clones/veg. they dig it and grow pretty fast in there for cfls, and its not too rough on them. I dont turn the 125s on till theyre a few inches tall though

plus another note is 5000k is a far better spectrum(includes all the blues of 6500k and the far reds from 2700k) less visible light(lumens) more more PAR.
