Changing my light source from 1000mh to 2- 4ft. 4 bulb T8's

My power bill just came in and it's horrendously high. I've been running a 1000w mh 24/7 for about a month, along with a 600cfm and 260 cfm fan.
Also running 2 humidifiers in a 6x6 tent with only two plants. Just to much power draw and thinking of putting the potted plants outside, (weather permitting here around Eugene, Or.), during the day and inside the tents for the 6hr. dark period. Also using the florescent lights inside when its to cold and rainy out.
Looking for suggestions here.
Thank you!

18/6 saves 25%. And whats the humidity issue? I'm NW and usually good. Runs 35-50 %..

Welcome to growing. Lol.

Didn't you realise before hand how much it was going to cost?

The light alone uses 1kwh of electric for every hour of use. You're adding 24kwh to your currently daily usage.

I run a 400w system. Before growing I was using 13kwh per day. Now I use around 21Kwh a day. Almost double what I was using.

I hate to be the one to $hit in your cornflakes... But, power draw aside, you'll get much better results with HID's over Flouro's.
I don't know why you need to run 2 dehumidifiers... that seems like overkill, unless you have a humidity around 80-90%.

Personally... I'd go to an 18/6 veg light schedule, kill one of the dehumidifiers, suck it up and pay the power bill.
Good Luck with that!
