Cheap CFL's Found Some..

Well i dont know this may help some one as i am in a budget and trying to get my first grow started.. I was looking at CFL's at Walmart the other day and they have the great value CFL's for cheap you can get 4 26 watts 2500k lights for 4 bucks.. Or you can buy 12 26 watters for $9.99..

They also have 5000k for the same price.. I didnt know i could use the 5000k so i ended up buy 3 GE lights for 9 bucks them self which i am kicking my self in the ass for..



Hopefully this helps someone i think i may be picking up a couple more 4 packs in a lil while here..

don't kick too hard, you may have done yourself a favor
i've used both of these cfl's, the walmart cfl's didn't last worth crap, failed very quickly
the GE's go on and on
i had started growing with the GE 26w, great results, then looked over the walmart's because they looked identical to the GE's
i was guessing they were the same thing, but not quite
the walmart's did seem to give decent yield, just horrible reliability

Yea them lights are ok but check this. If you have a local menards and $25 bucks this what you should do. Go buy 2 250watt cfls energy saving ($9 a bulb) and buy a 2 to 1 socket adapter to run the lights together. The adapter can handle 660watts NP. Your total spent aprox $23. Just those 2 lights could be a nice start. I would eventually add 3-4 more over time. The lights to give great coverage n my babies love em. Also if um correct they get about 25000 hrs worth of light
