So I'm a building a rubbermaid cabinet with 2 - 45 gallon, i think i am going to do 2 big pots under 8 26 watt cfl = 100 watts @ 6500k, 1200 lumens and 8 42 watt = 150 watts @ 2700k , 2600 lumens. I will have 2 4 in inline fans, 1 for exhaust and 1 for intake. The inside will be lined with Maylar. I will have two diy carbon filters as exhausts at the top as well.

right now i have my lights hooked up to a vanity that has four sockets for 100 watts each. I am using y sockets and i will 8 CFL's for veg 26 watt 6500k and 8 CFL's 42 watt 2700k for flower. The Extension cord i am using is "rated light duty" i am concerned it is not safe.
The ratings on my cord is 13 amps and 16 guage.
Since i am using 120 volts x 13 amps = the total watts allowed are 1560.
I am putting only 360 watts of lights so is this power cord sufficient? according to my calculations it is. but i want a second opinion so please help! other people have made comments such as "make sure to use a heavy duty extension cord"...

Also what do you recommend for lighting hours for clone, veg, and flower?
