the bulb has arrived but was a bit bigger than expected!!!

i just went to all the local shops for an e40 fitting and no one has them in stock, so i have ordered one online and will hopefully be up and running on saturday

shes a beast and kicks out 19500 lumens

Hi yeah this is the 250w in 6400k spec, I already have 240w of red spectrum cfl's in my grow, I now have 490w of cfl's just got to get an e40 light fitting( anyone know of any diy ways of making light fittings?)

Don't think you can make a light fitting you could try a scrap yard or something like that where you would find old street lights and they might have the same fitting or big garage lights or lamps :eyesmoke: improvise :mrgreen:
Or you could order something like this (pic) off the internet just arrived today :mrgreen:

the bulb cost me £26.99. but i some how ordered two by mistake so i now have two lol,



ive now got two e40 fittings in the post

damn son, that bulb is a beast, and alot cheaper than you would pay for a hps of the same wattage... nice find... if i am ever ballsy enough to order online, then i will have to get one...

HEY IF YOU WANT TO SELL ONE OF THESE ILL TAKE ONE iLL SEND YOU MONEY VIA WESTERN UNION. i'M IN LONDON OTARIO. IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANY e40 FITTINGS, YOU COULD ALWAYS SODER WIRES ON THE CAP. TRY ON A CHEAP BULD. I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WOULD WORK ON REGULAR BULB, BUT NOT SURE IF SODER WILL STICK TO THAT METAL ON CAP.
