so ive been growing this plant along with 2 others in a aero garden and it was going well or i thought it was they were growing slow then the aerogarden stoped moving water so i was like crap and i gave the 2 smallest plants to my friend and i put the larger one in soil "miracle grow" is that bad? i dont think it is because its gotten so much bigger and healthier looking since i did. here are soem pics i dont know if its male or female yet hoping for the best but let me know what you guys think.

not exactly sure its the lights that came with the aero garden lol and yea the top of the plant is getting to be to heavy and it starts to hang over so i have to use a clothes hanger to hold it up : / im getting scared ahah

Does look stretched. Reminds me of a couple of plants I grew on my window sill when I was a lad.

U might wanna put a bamboo stick or something in there mate to support it, try and find out wot lights u got, that's prob why its streching, not enough light, u could repot into a larger pot, plant it with the roots at the bottom so u bury some of the stalk, I don't lnow if u have a fan in there but an oscillatin fan blowin on it will strengthen the stalk, if its cfl make sure the light is as close as poss without burning it u want it to be 1-2" from the top of the plant. Also it might be worth topping it, and maybe bending, good luck with ur grow!

woah woah woah lets back up a second here whats all this topping about and whats this about clones let me know because i havnt really done anything im scared to kill it

Well mate, everything I know I learned from this site, I'm only on my first grow so a couple of months back I didn't know anything about growing, RUI is the ultimate for finding anything out, I think there is a thread called unclebens topping technique or something like that, it will explain everything, clones are cuttings usually from known good females that are alreadu mature so u could flower them straight away if u wanted, they are genetically the same as the mother plant(these are only brief descriptions, I'm no expert!) When u top it stops vertical growth of the main stem u cut off the first new growth at the top, the leaves that havnt properly come out yet, that'll give u 2-4 new main colas which will grow taller but ull have 2-4 bud sites instead of 1 search out uncleben mate that explains it properly, it won't kill ur plant mate good luck!

Also.... wot welshsmoker means is when u cut the top new growth off u can use rooting powder or gel and turn ur cutting into a clone of the plant u have, +rep for welshsmoker he's a legend!

yes mate as csj said sound, but depending on how long you can veg for if you take about 3 or 4" of the top of the plant and put them cuttings into a medium they should reroot into new plants, it takes a couple of weeks for them to reroot then they come back as clones of the mother, try to keep them under cfls for 20/4 .. and by topping you will get a bushier plant, i have topped some plants over ten times, every time a new branch comes just take a cutting and 2 colas will come back, so 1 topping = 2 tops . 2toppings = 4 tops, 4 tops = 8 tops, ect, but if you do that to every branch tops are endless depending on veg time,
