Cherry Fuel - Sin City Seeds - grow/smoke report

This is the first offering I've tried from Sin City seeds. Seed sprouted well, flowering time about 9 weeks or a little more. Aroma is sort of like cherry cough syrup and sweet tart candy... I haven't smoked any yet, but I did make a few seeds crossed with 4th back cross Wonder pollen. Pic is of the Cherry Fuel.

Yield as bad as it looks? Curious b/c I almost have pulled the plug and ordered a couple strains from Sin City.

I'll have to see how it dries down, before I know exact yield. But I can tell you it's not a heavy yielder.

Well I had a chance to smoke some of the Cherry Fuel. The buds have been seeded on this one. So I'll take that into account.

The bud is fairly dense despite seeding, and is still quite flavorful. Which is a sign of good breeding. The actual flavor, was that of Trix cereal, and a bit of diesel or rubber. The taste was quite ingrained I would say... The buzz is of pretty good potency. Reminds me a bit of a strain Nebu came up with.

Anybody remember Nebu, he started out calling himself, Willie Wap, then changed his name and became a breeder. He did have at least one good strain I tried, similar to this Cherry Fuel...

And a bit more comment on what I think of flavor over all on all strains... While the Cherry Fuel was very tasty and impressive, and would be even more so if it was grown as sensimi... I've found that almost everything seems to either taste somewhat like ditch weed. Or it has somewhat of a weird flavor to it, despite any intense or ingrained terpens... The Cherry Fuel has a bit of that weird flavor in with it... I expect it will make good seed, as Wonder hybrids usually always have a good clean taste. That's one of the superior gifts of Wonderbud's hybridizational abilities..

From the looks of the dried buds it's no wonder it doesn't taste "clean".
Yellow leaves + bean pods usually don't taste very good!

The crosses with Petrol clone don't interest me.

Uh, no, all my bud looks like that more or less its the way I like to grow it. And my flavor is second to none that I've ever tried. Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats Wonderbud flavor or the way I grow... And like I said, (if you can read), the bud has been seeded, and I have taken that into consideration... I seed and breed all the time, and I know the difference in flavor and what it should be...

Bud that is truly dank, when flowered under fluroscent lighting, while still maintain a good margin of flavor and potency. The more seeded it is the less flavorful it will be. The fact that the Cherry Fuel, can still have a very good ingrained taste after seeding, is a compliment to the strain not an insult...

Of what I've tried since I've returned to the net. Dinfem's Blue Hash, is about the only thing that I would say actually had a good taste with no ditchy or weirdo flavors in it... I'm going to be sampling some of Subcools TGA soon, I have high hopes for it from what I've heard

Thanks for your reports Vincent. I am smoking a Kandy Kush that is the best tasting smoke I think I've come across. I haven't grown or tried the number of strains you have but still KK for me has a really fresh lemon taste and really nothing else except a hashiness. Really good.
