Chiller Set-Up

This must be one of those dumb a** questions because I have searched everything I can find on the internet and can't find it.

I just bought a new Active Aqua Chiller with a seperate pump and filter bag and am ready to get started. The one thing I can't find is how long to run the pump to the chiller. It stands to reason that the absence of this information and the fact that the water needs to be cooled through the chiller that it would need to be on 24/7. I am just being stubborn and want to conserve as much as possible. So, here I am now asking the question. What is the frequency at which you run the feeder pump from the reservoir to the chiller and back?

I don't have a chiller, but I would assume it has some sort of temperature control? When the water is cooled to your desired temp, the chiller stops chilling. It probably still cycles the pump to get the water temp. Are there temp controls on your chiller?

I run the pump to the chiller 24/7.
