CjMcGirt's First Grow!

I got some clones 12/29/11 and this is gonna be my first grow so lets hope all is well. Working with a 6x6x8 tent and a 1000 watt hps bulb. I also have a heater and an oscillating fan in there. The temp stays at 80 and goes to 75 at night. Just transplanted them to their permanent homes on New Year, so haven't given them any nutes yet.

The water where I live isn't very good, I definitely don't drink it so they only get store bought water.


and for CO2 and to protect from bugs and dust they get misted every 4 hours.


uhhhhh used Fox Farm soil in 3 gallon containers and have Fox Farm nutes
Theres vents in the bottom of the tent on all sides and I have a carbon filter that sucks air out. IDK anything else you guys want to know. I'll take more pics of my setup next time. I'll update every 5 days most likely.

Looking good, cant wait to see the outcome

Oh (newbie alert) as I said I have 14 plants and a 5x5x8 tent. What method should I use to grow these? (major newb alert) such as topping, scrogging, LST, fimming? I have been doing research on research on EVERYTHING but i just don't know what method would be best. Thanks.

3 day mini update!Just wanted to some sort of update so people may notice this thread so when I have questions they can answer them

• Still haven't been given any nutrients, no color changes in leaves their still dark green, so I didn't want give them anything since I see no deficiencies
• Just fimmed them today so I'm hoping I did it correctly and that they turn out good. They still love the sparkling water, I spray it on every four hours and turn the fan off and it's absorbed in less than a minute.
• Still only watering them with distilled water ($1.00 per gallon) I can water all 14 with almost 2 gallons sufficiently. Have to water them about every 2-3 days so far.
• I'm getting some GIGANTIC leaves on some of them so I've been trimming the leaves by cutting the tips off so the plants don't focus to much energy into darkening and taking care of them.Same temps uh 79-81 light, 74-76 dark. I'm running 19 hours light, 5 dark.(I know it's 18-6 but just don't want to change it now because I want everything to remain constant. Starting to tie down the larger branches to pull them down. Tied some branches of 4 of the plants and the branches were (idk how to describe this properly lol) they were tied down at more than a 180 angle and came back 6 hours later and they were already growing up toward the light.(about 2 inches up toward the light)

I love suggestions or anything, any feedback at all positive or negative. So please comment freely, especially if I'm doing something wrong.
