Clone Has Yellow Spots on Some Leaves and Edges are Dying

One of my clones, a little over two weeks into veg, is getting some yellow spots on the leaves, edges of some leaves are dying and hardening out, and new leaves have yellow edges. I have the plant about 2ft under a 750watt HPS light with a box fan blowing on it. I was feeding it earth juice and it was doing fine for a little while but then this started happening. I flooded the 1 gallon pot with about a 1/2 gallon of pH'd water and let it drain two nights ago and haven't watered it since.

Is the problem nutrient burn? I constantly check for bugs and haven't seen any, no mites or anything flying around. Hope the pictures help. image1.JPG image2.JPG image3.JPG

The leaves that have the cupping and the ones up top that are damaged look like possibly your grow area became to hot to run HPS. The maximum is 78F but that is if your plant is active and transpiring while not in too low of too high of humidity. I don't see any actual deficiency with your plant but they do appear a little dark green to me possibly indicating the presence of too much Nitrogen which is another reason the upper most leaves took the light stress so poorly. Although I am high and I could be missing details. What's your temps and humidity during lights on?

The leaves are a little dark because it is an indica clone with black in the strain name, I am usually conservative on the watering. I am not too sure about the temp in my grow room as I don't have a thermometer but it isn;t too bad. The plant stays fairly cool as I have a fan blowing on it at a pretty good rate. Its been a few days since I flushed the plant and the new growth is coming in unburned, but if you look at the couple of leaves at the bottom right of the first photo you can see there is some burning on a couple leaves, also the leaves on the very top of the last photo have burnt edges. I will just water for a couple more days and then start with a light nute regimen. I read that you should flush soil on about a weekly basis to prevent chemical/nutrient build up in the soil. Is this true? Thanks for the help.

Hey I meant to add also that plants need to adjust to HID lights at first you shouldn't put them so close. You can start them off under them but actually I usually start at 4 feet and if they droop I move the plant out to the side also. Never flush your soil unless you have a reason and the only reason is if you have a salt buildup or if you really over do it with nutrient(s) such to the extent that you have acidic/alkalinic soil. In either of those cases you will have time to get a second opinion from the guys online. You don't need to flush right now I was just observing you should reduce Nitrogen. So you said Earth Juice I assume grow? You can drop it by 1/2 or 1/3rd of what you're currently using I think and if I'm wrong they will become a little pale so you know to feed a little more again.
