Looks a little far in flower to be cloning if you ask me. Hope you have it in 24/0 light to reveg it. But as for the 1 root you should be fine. Just try not to move it to much.

x2

As stated above ^^ She's pretty late into flowering to be cloning. Run 24/0 to force back into veg.

Also...Do not keep the clone directly under the lights (as you normally would do); but instead, move it farther away (or raise the lights it's under). This will help prevent the clone from Transpiring too much water, and root-growth will happen much faster. Root growth can take 2 - 4 weeks, so don't worry if there's not a ton of root-mass yet. As long as you didn't pull-off the entire tap-root (The main root) you should be fine. Good Luck!!

was it the only root? If not don't worry more roots will grow. It's common practice in hydro gardens to trim rootballs believe it or not because they get so crazy big! If it was the only root, you can cut off part of the stem, dip it in your hormone and it will root again. And it doesn't matter when you cut your clones, you can still get them to root and revert to a vegetative stage. Although the longer your are into flower, the longer it takes to get back to veg. so if you don't mind waiting the extra couple weeks, then you're good to go.

no it wasnt the only root! I noticed more roots when checked today! more upp the stem,so there is like 2 cm of stem rotting or turning brown bellow the roots!
i was just experimenting with cloning a flowering plant! no harm in trying i guess! maybe a little time wasted but i am a hobbyish type of person :P..
thanks

I take clones in flower sometimes...it will be fine...and tearing roots happens...it is not ideal, but most plants will recover...That plant will grow funny looking leaves when it starts to grow...so watch out for that to happen and dont' worry about it.

True,, kind had an idea when i started about the force to veg thing. but i also read somewhere it was alright and possible! maybe benefits..dont really know as a fact coz im only noob..
but thanks anyways and help is really appreciated man! grasscity are shit the people here are honestly awesome and talk!

btw, have noticed more roots showing further up the stem! and under. the stem is kind of turning brown and rotting away i guess! is that a problem?
also the little nugs..should the be cut off? or better to leave? thanks!
