Clone of a clone

Does anyone know specifically or has anyone noticed generally a limit to the number of times you can clone a plant before it's just too old to clone again? I know people keep a "mother", but I'm talking about cloning from a clone and then cloning from that clone. I ask because I'm on my 3rd generation of cloning this same plant that I started from a bag seed in 2021 and I've noticed this grow has already got a bunch of pre-flowers on it and I'm still in the veg stage.

I'm using the same cruddy 150watt LED as the last 2 times I grew this plant so I don't think it's a light deficiency...at least not anymore than the last 2 times. As of last night it was pretty healthy looking. I just wasn't sure if I should try cloning it again or move on to a new seed?

Some people on here have strains from the 70s still going.
The clone is the age of the original.
In my experience its never made any difference but I've probably only gone 15 generations down the line.

If you don't take care of the parent the plant will be weak and take longer to start growing properly again
