Cloner pump croaked in mid clone

Was 4 days into rooting and my pump quit working. Hadn't shown any visible roots yet, but in emergency mode, I dipped in the hormone and planted early. I've been keeping it pretty moist the past 24 hours, we'll see what happens. Any of you ever been forced to plant early like this, or have any success planted before roots have started? Never even tried here...

Planting early is no different from just cloning to oldschool way, just takes longer

What happened to the pump? I have one of those buckets with a eco185 pump in it and it isnt that old and it was all caked up in the propeller and that bound it up. Yet my little tent with the same pump twice as old hasnt shown any build up at all.

Same thing happened to me two weeks ago and I was forced to plant early. I lost 6 of the 36 I had going. Not a big loss. Already have a new pump for the next batch. Good luck.

I run vinegar though my pumps between grows then flush with clean water. Haven't had a problem since.
