Clones not rooting at all. Help!

Hey all. I'm on my first batch of clones and I've run into a few issues. I've read just about everything on the web about the subject and I'm still confused as hell.

The strain I'm using is Ice (feminized seeds). I flushed mamma plant out 2 weeks before taking the cuttings. I cut the plants at a 45 degree angle, immediately dipped in in Clonex cloning solution and placed it into a homemade bubbler system. The water in the bubbler system is pH'd at about 6.0 and also contains a little bit of the cloning solution. The plants are sitting about 2 inches above the water, so they get misted by the bubbles.

For the first 3 days, I had a humidity dome over the plants and misted them and the dome about 3 times a day. I made sure to exchange the air, get some CO2 in there, etc. The 4th day I took off the dome.

It's been 10 days. They are yellowing more and more everyday, but still absolutely no root growth. There is no root ball, no nubs, nothing.

So what am I doing wrong? Should I take new cuttings?

i put my stems into the water for a few days then ill bring them out of the water alittle, most of the time i just stick them in and wait in a few days the water will drop enough.its took up to 3 weeks to get roots at times so dont give up on them right away,as far as a dome i dont bother ,if you have enough spray they should do fine without the dome.just depends on how much humidity you have where you live . good luck

gcvt420: My temps range anywhere from 70-80 F.

Bagale: I live in an arrid climate, that's the only reason I used the humidity dome. I'm going to try dipping them in the water for a few days, maybe that will get them going a bit. We'll see I guess.

I think sometimes you just need to let them go, really I would think it matters more of when you took the cuttings from the mother (ideally they might root in a week, but when you think about it the life of the mother could easily add a week to rooting time just because of the conditions changing within the plant.)
