Clones turning brown

Do you think these girls are turning purple/brown because the humidity is too high? It's only been 8 days and they haven't rooted yet but last time I failed I started noticing the tops wilting and turning the same brown.

I use a basic humidome and heat mat. I've been taking the lid off at least twice a day because it seems like beads of water cover the sides entirely within a few hours. I have 12 cuts in the dome but they arent soaked at all. In fact they're barely wet. I haven't sprayed them more than every third day because I'm worried it's already too humid. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using just water? At this point you should be slowly bringing the humidity down to encourage root growth. I have had some clones take 20 days. also the heat mat might be giving you to much heat. put it on a timer, or get the heat mat temp controller

they're going ok. but make sure at 8 days you give them a spray when dome is off ,as u said no roots yet so its still relying on u spraying(dome off) to survive.

Keep the dome on. Keep cloning medium above 70 degrees. I fan my dome out once a day and mist a little water into the air and on the medium. I do not mist the leaves. Use a reliable rooting hormone and consider going to rapid rooters or any other sponge type plugs. Rockwool sucks for cloning IMO.
