Clones

no, not as long as you look after them, there weeds dont forget this, they come back from more then a little stunting
 
These are 3 months old stunted oops I just couldn't kill them

If you are talking about a clone actually being stunted due to over watering, nutrient deficiencies or other causes of stress it should 100% be fine.

But there is something else with clones (particularly older clones with some age on them) called dudding. That is possibly a different story. In all my years, if I have a clone dud on me I will just toss it out so I honestly have no idea how it would do. Just recently had 1 out of like 25 headband clones dud on me. This headband is 29 years old, though.
