cloning help needed

i have a plant i want to clone, but im not 100% on how to. ive seen many videos, but they are all for large scle plants. i need it for the aerogarden. how long should i cut the branch to be? im using the water+sunlight only method. if u dont kno wat that is, its this:

bout 5-6" I'ld say roughly. You don't want alot of leaves on your cutting.
Feel free to remove a couple leaves on the cutting, to ensure there is not too many.

1) ok, do i want to take it from a lower branch or a higher one?
2) after the i clone them, how do i stick in the aerogarden? do i still need the sponge? or do i put it in another way?

you need to get some root hormone and then i guess you just stick it in the rockwool sponge and you should be good? im not 100% though

i dont think you understand the question i was aking. iwanted to know if once i have the branch cloned, how do i put it in the AG pod? do i cut open the sponge and stick the stem in there so that the roots are in the water? please give details, so i can understang best

oh uhh i think you could really do either, I dont really know i will get my first AG clones in a week or 2 so i think someone else on the boards would know better than me. It is my amature opinion that you might not want to stick the stem in water though, just stick it in the rockwool?

where can i get rockwool? how much does it cost? what is it exactly?
