Cloning question

I just cloned for the first time a few days ago, and the leaves are droopy. Is this normal? The plants are about 5" tall, they are in a plastic dome, the temperature is about 80, and I spray them twice a day.

They are probably just stressed from being cut. A little bit of droopiness is normal at first.

Did you use a cloning gel?
Were your cutting tools sterile?
Do you have a heating pad under your tray or did you just place your clones in soil? It's a good idea to start them in rockwool, coco, groplug, etc. starters and letting them root before placing into large pots.

Yes, I used cloning gel, heating pad, and I think my tools were sterile. I used a brand new razer blade. I had a lot of soil left over, and that's why I used it. Thanks for the info!

They will droop and when the plant actually is rooting will turn a light yellow. Most important thing is to let em be. My biggest mistake was fiddling with them. I use rockwool to clone but same difference. You have perfect conditions, just keep your medium moist and let em be. 12-11 075.jpg
