Cloning Troubles

So I have tried cloning my W.W. mother plants twice now and every time not a single one survives...

I cut rite above a node so two more grow there... The original cut is about 5 inches long and has 3 nodes on it.. I cut off everything at the bottom node and then make another cut rite below it... on some of them I aslo do the scraping method rite above the cut.... Then I dipped half into rooting powder and placed in rockwool... the other half I put into a cup of water...

The ones in rock wool have basically fallen over from wilting and the ones I placed in water look ok but the stems have arched to get the stem out of the water completly...

I need help guys I have spent hours looking around RIU and youtube.... and to me it appears I am doing everything rite...

PLEASE HELP this is screwing up my growing schedule... I dont want to have to order seeds every time I start a new batch!!!!!!!

I have been using bottled water for everything so I am guessing the ph is good... I havent been soaking the cubes... i just dunk them till they are soaked then shake them for a while to get most of the water out... they are under a make shift dome with florescent

have you got a heated propergator? if not then invest in one. to take a cutting cut in a 45% angle just under the 3rd or 4th node stick it in rockwool cube place in heated propergator place under small light and wait do not overwater the rockwool and with in a few days to a few weeks you will get roots.

Veilside ...

After you put the cutting into the RockWool, what are you doing with the RockWool? This is a very important question. Please describe your growing method. Are you in hydro? DWC? Aero? Soil?

Are you just putting the cutting into the RockWool and then placing the RW/cutting on a plate or something?

And by the way, after soaking the RW, you don't want to shake any water out of it ... nor do you want to squeeze the RW. The advantage of RW is the fact that it stays wet, and yet, has the ability to breath.

Another question: What kind of rooting gel or powder are you using on the cuttings?

I get just about a 100% success rate with my cuttings ... and I'd like to help you out, but you'll need to answer the above questions.

I place the rw into a cookie tray and under a clear rubber aid container turned upside down...
