I have done this before and it works. The only problem is it takes a while of vegging for the to start taking off again. They also can grow really weird throughout most of the early veg process (odd shaped leaves, stems, etc), but all of mine eventually pull through and start ripping again. It's kinda cool cause they show flowers throughout the veg process. Best thing to do is take them B4 flowering though, if possible. But you gotta be ready for them sooner.
