Close to harvest?

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm close to harvesting but was hoping someone could provide some guidance. I have 2 plants (both unknown strain) and today is day 1 of week 9 in flower.

I have done so much wrong and made so many mistakes. What a rollercoaster.

Plant 1:20210504_165025.jpg20210504_165904.jpg

Plant 2:20210504_170110.jpg20210504_170419.jpg

Plant 2 has nanners I think. I have been removing as I see them but don't wanna leave it too long before harvesting.

Also, I'm after an "up" high. Not keen on couchlock.

Thanks!

Do you have a full plant pic? And what kinda light are you using? They look like they want more light if you want bigger buds. They also need a little longer. They'll swell up a bit more if you let them.

I have 1x 300w and 1x600w led. I think when I started using the 300w light for side lighting, the shorter one started foxtailing. I since changed that to just top lighting. I also had the odd night where I messed up the schedule and exposed light and/or dark for a few extra hours. Poor plants. They're pretty resilient but I have put them through hell.

Trichs are only like 1% amber. It's the nanners that concern me most I think.

What are your thoughts on sampling a small bud (will dry) to rest?

Appreciate the help

I should add that they were just under a 300w light for about 4/5 of the grow so far.

Those lights aren't really 300 and 600 watts just so you know.

The nanners probably happened due to the light cycle changes. They need their 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness.

I would cut back on the N (nitrogen) too. Those leaves are super dark. Too much N can cause foxtailing also.

You could sample a bud, but they need a lot more time, so I'd only sample one if I was desperate.
