Closet grow room/First grow with feminized seeds

I was searching the internet and I came across 2 guys' plans for a closet grow. They are roommates in an apartment.

Here's the video:

Supplies:
2 rubber buckets
2 five gallon buckets
Wood to raise buckets
Pans to catch drainage
1 organic bag of perlite and vermiculite
2 bags of miracle gro organic potting mix
4 bags of earth gro potting soil

They have a set up of 2 G13 seeds (in the jiffy pots that are in the cups) and 2 Auto-Berry seeds (adjacent to each cup). They are currently germinating and have been in there for almost a day. 3 seeds were germinating in a paper towel a week prior but did not sprout.

They have a few questions:

What is the proper mix for the soil in the pots when they transplant? They were thinking of using 1 bag of miracle gro potting mix for 2 buckets, half in each. They thought the best way to do it would be to use the mg potting mix in the bottom half of the buckets with some earth gro potting soil and vermiculite/perlite. And then the top half as potting soil and perlite/vermiculite.

Is it necessary to keep the room/light cool? They don't have an exhaust system but they do open the door time to time to let the air conditioning to be blown in by a fan and to circulate the air. They don't have a dehumidifier yet, but plan to by the end of the week.

That is all the questions they have for now and they would GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP/ANSWERS/ADVICE!!!!!!!

If i was u i wouldnt use MG, it can burn ur plants(Nutes). I use Pro-Mix BX. growing sum gr8t stuff right now. Also ur gonna have to use sum type of exhaust because trust me it will get pretty hot in there. a 4" inline fan would work great in there with a 4" carbon filter when u begin to flower and the smell because a prob. also buy a temp/humidity detector, will help u alot.
