Depends on the dispensary and their rules. Your best bet is to call ahead of time and ask them if it's alright.

most dispensaries to not allow outside ppl meaning ppl without mmj recs but some will let ppl sit in the lobby but yea best bet is to call ahead

It would be illegal if they know it's for you, and you could get them in trouble inadvertently if they are dumb enough to let you in.
Don't fuck with their safety, just tell your dude to get you whatever level stuff you're looking for in whatever price etc and stay well away from the shop...

Or get your own card.

I'v never been to one that would allow this, that's how dispensaries get busted in the first place. By selling to non-marijuana patients
