CO2 and carbon filters

Just curious...I run CO2 in my tent (sealed of course) and I have a 4" vortex that I'm thinking about throwing a carbon filter on as a 'scubber' to improve air quality...not that it's really needed but I try to keep everything as clean as possible. I was thinking about just setting the fan on top of the filter in the middle of the tent to pull the CO2 rich air from the bottom of the tent back up into the canopy/fans but was wondering if it will reduce my CO2 PPM? The active carbon will filter off the CO2 won't it? Thanks.

Id say no, co2 molecules are way too small to be trapped by the filter.
you could do a search and maybe find a scientific answer on the web somewhere

I did a search and i found this on wiki

"Activated carbon can be used as a carbon dioxide scrubber. Air with high carbon dioxide content, such as air from fruit storage locations, can be blown through beds of activated carbon and the carbon dioxide will adsorb onto the activated carbon. Once the bed is saturated it must then be "regenerated" by blowing low carbon dioxide air, such as ambient air, through the bed. This will release the carbon dioxide from the bed, and it can then be used to scrub again, leaving the net amount of carbon dioxide in the air the same as when the process was started"

So it seems like it might not make a difference. The filter will absorb co2 but will readily release it when the ppm drops.

id maybe run the carbon filter only at night if this is the case.
