OK so i know this is a common question here on RIU and i have done some researching on it and my question is about equipment more than the overall basics of CO2
I will soon be upgrading my grow and i want to get a pro CO2 sytem going. im going to go with a tank and regualtor system.
my question is. i am looking for some decent priced PPM readers and distributers, something that will read the PPM of the CO2 in the room and then either shut off the supply or add CO2 untill it gets to my desired level. they say 1500 ppm is where you want to be. i want to run 800-1000ppm inboth rooms..... for now and see what the results are, i will toy with it as i go but going to start off low and see what kind of difference it makes.
heres my problem
i have a 32"x32" tent and a 6'x4' room that i need to supply CO2 to. i only want to deal with one system as i cant afford to buy seperate systems for each.
would i be better off getting something like this
http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-System-cubic-Timer-COSYS20/dp/B0002HFNIA/ref=sr_1_12?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1359143111&sr=1-12&keywords=co2+generator
and just T off the main tank and use one of these in each room and set them different. this wont give me a PPM meter but i can buy something like this
and just test each space manually and adjust as needed till i get desired results.
both rooms will be sealed.
im trying to keep this Co2 system under 500 bucks. i think with the route i am looking at above it will work but im not sure if im looking at the right equipment. I know there is some more expensive stuff out there but to rig up 2 rooms its going to cost me over 1000 bucks for a fully automatic system, im trying to cut some costs by adding more work for me which will be manually testing PPM and adjusting regulators.
anyways someone with some experience in trying to rig us CO2 on a budget but still wanting to do it correct please chime in.
