CO2 Question

Hey all,

I'm just switched over five white wids to their eight week flowering cycle ranging from 18" - 22". They are in a closet ebb-flow system using a small pump and water stone with a big plastic tube res. They are under a 400W and 2 150W hps with some supplemental 65 w cfls. We've been monitoring and controlling ph and temp. For flowering we wanted to incorporate some sort of CO2 source but dont really want to spring for a pricy generator. I've researched using either a dry ice method or a yeast/sugar method to produce ample co2 for the plants. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these methods or other ideas they've incorporated in other grows. Thanks hopefully pics soon

IMO cheap solutions are a waste of time/money. You'll go through a lot of dry ice for little benefit, esp if you already have good circulation. Yeast is little to no co2 generation for a decent sized space you need a ton of it. A small co2 cylinder with a cheap regulator and a timer, or small gens are the best solution. I tried yeast, waste of time, improved circulation outpaced it 10 fold.

A regulator for 300 solenoid for 60 timer 10 20lb tank 80. It may seem alot but when you get those monster ass colas you will be more than happy. 2 oz will repay you.

I have done both a diy system and my current 20lb setup. IMO go with a regulator and bottle the rest is just a plain waste of time.
