Hey folks
This thread must be read to this song to be truly understood:

Below is a design for a CO2 subcritical fluid extractor and a link to a thread in Jon Stewart’s forum I used to organize my thoughts. The SCFE can be assembled for less than $1000 or from used parts. I needed a quiet spot to empty my mind and I knew that no one would go to Jon Stewart’s forum looking for something funny except by accident.
The threads that you’ll be going to developed the way they are over two weeks, there was no preconceived plan, I originally just dumped the technical information and letters there then organized my mind for the next step. The challenge of designing a SCFE is something that I’m sure some of you can appreciate, there’s just nothing of value on the net - I thought the process though again and again and again until I could feel in the backs of my shoulders the physical properties of the gas change as it went through different temperatures and pressures in the system. Mostly Kali Mist.
The threads are designed around 9 posts, streams of information blended. There’s an array of ideas that I’m working on that are pretty much one in the same to me, so I had a stream of consciousness process to help me clear my mind, then organized the info. The streams are color coded - blue for technical, green for letters, herculanum font for Philisophicals, and so on. There is a disambiguator, on the second page - believe it or not that’s a real word.
Everything needed for the extractor is in blue, in the first two posts, you can just scroll through quickly or catch some of the humor on the way through. After dumping the technical info I realized that it would be too much for most people to absorb in one sitting, so I wanted to add other points of interest such as videos of The Trailer Park Boys and Kids In The Hall - two good Canadian shows that most people probably haven’t seen. I’ve got Philisophicals, mostly from the Greeks because I find their thinking to be so clean, some of my own when I got lazy. Mostly I just posted whatever shit I wanted then organized it so its logical in my mind. Now I can forget about it as I did the info in my threads on here. Dump truck mind.
I wanted to make a thread that had enough variety and quantity of fun stuff that people could go back again and again and again - because that is what will be needed to absorb the SCFE info. Most people will not get this the first time through, there’s a lot of fucking info even though I put it in point form. How do you grow 1 gram per watt as a first time grower? You don’t.
I’ve been obsessed with communication for the past month and a half, mostly through music but I started to look at holy carvings: the ancient Greeks found Egyptian hieroglyphs in temples so they were called ... . I had an idea that its important to communicate without words in some instances, taking an intellectual step out of the process and making the information more pressing on the brain. With my carvings I’m looking to make isomorphic squares, not quite a magic square (9 numbers that add to 15 is the common one know) - rows of 3 pictures that have an intuitive meaning when read left to right, and another meaning when read right to left. So, even though some of them are very pretty pictures they’re not just a bunch of pretty pictures lumped together: each row is a complete thought and the 9 picture array is a complete thought. Of course I’ll probably be the only one to get there because I have no legend for the pictures. In my third thread “Soul” there will be only a story written in holy carvings, and a legend explaining the context of each picture within ancient Greek mythology.
A lot of fucking with people, something I don’t do around here much. I would like help with two things, and only from people who would do them anyway:
1: Construct the SCFE
It should be relatively easy to slap together once a resin collector is built, like I say in the letter its got to be simple and plug and play. The do the process of failure testing and refining the process. I want to focus my thoughts on as few gifts as possible and the when I can get one off the table I can focus my thoughts on the residiuum.
2: Fuck with everyone I’ve fucked with in CoBerT Free World.
I’ve got characters listed with background info from the cartoon world. It’s something that I used for spill over, the process of designing the SCFE was taxing, then I used it to clear my head afterwards.
So, any type, quantity and quality of fucking with people that you folks would like to do I would appreciate it. Don’t feel constrained to only this and Jon’s site, but I’d like to keep all the SCFE discussion on Jon’s forum. So we have most of the fucking with people stuff in one spot, incase we get a visit.
I personally am a student of the Eddie Murphy school of fucking with people:
One last thing that’s important for anyone who wants to browse the thread - it’s formatted for a MacBook Pro 17” screen. Being obsessed with music (even though I play no instrument and can neither sing nor dance) I wanted to control tempo, dynamics, etc. By framing the text and images I make the story stop at certain spots, a lot of time moving down only one line or image block will change the perspective or show how characteristics are shared between two people listed, in other areas there are no frames for free flow at the readers pace. If you don’t have a MacBook scroll down to the holy carvings section (post 7, page ~90) to the only picture of the great wall of China, a blank page below Eddie Murphy explaining my philosophy of fucking with people. Shrink your screen to the blank space between Eddie and the Great Wall of China. The 3 nine image arrays should each fit into their own screen with no other image or text in the screen. You’re good to go. The music in these three carvings add depth, resonance, to the meaning.
Please add a post to this thread, to keep it at the top and so I know who’s visiting the Gift thread. As well, a post at Jon’s thread would be great if you have the time to register. And if you visit any other forums it’d be great if you could copy and paste this info there as well, I’d like to get the whole community involved in developing the CO2 extractor.

Procedure
1: Fill the extraction tube and attach it to the extractor.
2: Heat the CO2 tank to 100 F and hook it up to the extractor, opening the valve to the temperature gauge and wait until the temperature gets to the subcritical range.
3: Open the valve between the Pressure Regulators slowly, until the Pressure Gauge in the Extraction Tube section is the same as the setting on the first Pressure Regulator.
4: Open the valve to the Resin Harvester and run the extraction until the pressure in the Harvester is the same as the pressure on the first regulator, before the Extraction Tube. Or until the operator feels that all of the resin has been extracted from the plant mater. Check the temperature gauge after the extraction tube to be sure the CO2 is still in subcritical range, some gas may have to be run through that section to bring it to temperature critical (Tc).
6: Close all of the valves and bleed off the pressure in all of the tubes. All of the tubes, gauges and valves should already have been cleaned by the subcritical CO2.
7: Cool the Resin Harvester in ice water to take the CO2’s temperature and pressure out of subcritical range. Cooling can be used if subcritical pressure is reached in the harvester before a larger extraction is finished.
8: Bleed off half of the pressure in the Resin Harvester to another tank to reduce the pressure and chance of loosing resin when venting the CO2. If a person wanted to set up a string of tanks they can take two scuba tanks, cut them in half and thread the top half of one as female and the top half of the other as male, making a two valve resin harvester. Stainless steel pipes with a valve fittings for each cap makes an excellent series of harvesters. A string of a half dozen double ended tanks could be set up for bleeding and venting for larger operations.
9: Use a vise and strap wrench to unscrew the two halves of your Resin Harvester & harvest your resin.
