So basically I turn my tank on 1.5 on the Meater of the regulator, and the tank was empty in Less then a week, what a waste!!!! On top of that I have my lights air cooled, so air is constantly pulling threw the 2 lights and outside the room, I can't turn the fan off or it will get very hot.... So basically what I am asking is, can I just flood the room with CO2 at night???? I want to have it flood the room for 15 mins, every 3 hours at night while the inline fan is off, which is during night cycle while the lights are off.

Hummm what if I connect the AC that I have duct to the room to the lights, would that keep the lights cool enough for my babies??? Cause that will solve everything, it will keep the temp down, while sealing the room for the CO2 to work during the day cycle, and I'll jus turn the inline fan on to scrub the room every 4 hours¿¿¿¿ So what do u guys and gales think about this idea????

you should have the lights cooling isolated from the room totally . pull air from outside the room and exhaust it outside. if you must exhaust room air then have that a seperate system of its own. if you run co2 and exhaust you'll need a controller than turns the co2 off and the exhaust fan on when a certain temp is met.

I think condensation may be a big issue doing this.

and the controller has a photocell in it that detects light, if there is no light it turns the co2 off.

I use the co2 bags. Works great, works for 6 months or more. 1 bag for less than $30 last 6 months or longer. As long as the bag puffs up and ther is good condensation it is releasing CO2

DB you are absolutely correct, it will definitely cause condensation, which bring problems, like mold and a chance of water getting to the electricity cause a even more problems.... What if I jus hook up another inline fan, solely for cooling the lights, it will suck threw the lights and release in the room. That will seal the room so that the CO2 could work, all I have to do is scrub the room with the other inline fan that I'm currently using every 3-4 hours for 15 mins, so basically the room wil be seald for most of the light cycle until i have to scrub.... My concerns are: since I will be pulling the hot air threw the lights and dumping the hot air back in the room, the hot air that I'm sucking won't help the temp because it's getting released back in the room, or will it be the same results Im getting right now, which are great control of the temp, by sucking threw the lights and releasing outside the room????? ANY IDEAERS MIGHT SPARCK A SOULTION FOR ANYBODY FACEING THIS PROBLEM, COME ON, LADIES AND GENTS LET'S PUT OUR MINDS TOGETHER......

I think someone mentioned it earlier, but the only way to make it work is to use ducting to pull air from outside your room, and suck it through the hoods and exhaust it with an inline fan/ducting out of your room. Youll need a dehumidifier too since all the moisture from the plants transpiration will stay in the room. Higher temps are ok when using co2 because the plants need it (upper 80s is ideal I think for co2 enriched rooms)but if it is much above that you'll need to look into air conditioning. You can skip venting the lights, but youll have to use even more AC to get the temps where you want them (and not use the kind of unit that sucks air out) If you wanna use co2 you have to really commit to a closed room system. Otherwise your plants wont get the intended benefit and every time you exhaust that air your cash will be sucked out with it.

Dude, I don't want to sound like a meany, but you seem to have no clue about how to use co2.

It appears that you are doing everything wrong. Also, that is very dangerous to use co2 like that. High concentrations of co2 in a confined space are lethal.

Has it occurred to you what would happen if all that co2 you are pouring out flows into a room where people or pets are sleeping? (Hint: think about Big Tyrone in his jail cell).

My advice to you is to get rid of the co2 system until you figure out wtf you are doing.

You made every possible mistake in using co2. I suggest that you get on the pot internet and spend a few hour doing research.
