The most efficient way to utilize Co2 is first is to have the right equipment.20 lbs.Co2 Tank,Co2 regulator that hooks up to a timer, and a Co2 controller.1500ppm is ideal.4000ppm is toxic to humans.Second is you need to have good lighting like hid, otherwise your plants won't be able to use the the extra Co2 and you will be wasting it.There are cheaper ways like sugar yeast method but in no way are as efficient as if you bought the right equipment.I myself still have not been able to purchase a Co2 controller so my Co2 turns on 15-30 mins 3x's a day lights on ONLY in my flowering room,in the dark period not only do the plants not use the Co2, plants also let off Co2 in the dark period so if combined with supplemental Co2 they can get Co2 poisoning and possibly die.Co2 requirements are different for every grower,it depends on size of the area you are growing in.
