Coconut water and/or Molasses.

Like everybody, I am always searching for something that I can do to improve the quality of my medicine, I was thinking of using both or either of these. I can't really find anything addressing the use of them together and was just curious if anybody has some experience to share. I am about 3 weeks into flower on the current run and am thinking of giving them some coco water for their next drink. Their last drink was a feeding (Blue Planet High Yield Organic) and they are close to being thirsty. They are growing in Promix amended with lobster compost, blood meal, and EWC. I have both the molasses and the coco water already, so I can go either way on them.

Thanks.

i say save the coconut water for yourself but the molasses you can feed throughout flower. it adds potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, and sulfur.

def use coco water. i was alternating molasses/ cocoh20 now i just use the coco. plants love the shit! 1/4 cup per gal. i was doing once a week but now every 2 weeks. still sneak molasses in at week 5ish...the coco h20 is a serious health food for plants.

I just look at the benefits of them both and they BOTH look good. Coconut being the largest seed in the world just has so much good stuff, how would it be a bad idea? That was my thought any way. I poured 20 oz. or so into around 20+ gallons of water and have an air stone running in there now. I was gonna give it a couple hours of bubbles and then give them a drink.

first benefit i noticed was when running em dry, real dry the didnt really droop. great for helping stress/ immunity. i read whats in coco water, theres everything:potassium, calcium, iron, b vitamins, amino acids, cytokinens, and thats the tip, let me try uploading this chart...

Sweet. I have four (out of 20) that are just plain bitches about their water. Then, I have two that bitch about their food. It's my own fault for having so many strains, but some of them get on my nerves sometimes. For the rest of them, I just want them to be bigger/better than they are currently. This is a cured Fruit Punch nug from my last. The plant was awesome and gave me a solid 3 zips, but I can't help to think what MORE I could have gotten from her. Stonger? Higher yield? These are little things to add (coco or molasses) to accomplish a better medicine.

I have too many things going on right now for experiments, I have been trying to get my perpetual dialed in and it is coming together, but it has just been too cold. I lost two trays of clones from the arctic blasts I have been getting. I am gonna wait until the weekend and cut some more. The coco (as far as I have read) is totally awesome for clones when you mist them with a soft mix of it. I will post my results.

i was just rereading that chart and was gonna say exact same thing, should be great for cloning. like clonex from a nut...

I have the gel for cloning, but I am gonna put the coco in my spray bottle for sure. I bet the peet pucks have whiskers in 4 days. I should soak the pucks in a solution of it too. Hmmm....my wheels are turning.

I look forward to your results. I will be able to see the difference of mine I think. I have cloned these same strains before. I am keeping the moms for a couple years, so once I get things rolling and have an extra tent, I will play around with the two mixes too.

BTW I have just started using an air stone and they LOVE it. I have had it for a couple years and just never bothered to hook it up. I try to run it a few hours before I water and feed them. I use (2) two gallon sprayers to feed them and a submersible pump in a 35 gallon bucket with a wand to water them. I just leave the stone in the bucket and fire it up a couple hours before show time. I have the pump mounted to the wall above the filters currently. This is how I roll. Carry water? FUCK THAT!!

thats awesome! carrying water gets old but im loving the exercise. i noticed a huge difference in the ezcloner when i added an air stone. helped lower high rez temps. like you, had that shit sitting around for like 2 years lol you in soil or?

No ganja grown hydro will ever taste like an organic soil ganja. Dirt for life! 100% organic for me. Even the coco water is certified organic. My girl is a hippie, but do I like pure things that I am going to consume. Shit, I even have non-GMO organic vanilla extract for my edibles. Have you hugged a tree today? :)

For the clones, I am straight domes from the garden store. I couldn't find my heat mats or the thermostat for them at first (thats why they all died). I found the mats and ordered another thermostat set to arrive friday. My last runs were beans from Herbie's, so I hadn't used the mats in a while. Oh well. Shit happens. I have three moms that will give me clones all day long.

Exercise is fine, but for just flowering plants, I have 20. That doesn't include moms or the veg rooms. You wouldn't want to carry that much water. Trust me.
