commercial seeds....

I got a bunch of mid grade seeds (aka Mexican pot.) I was wondering if i could get any input on how these grow and if anyone knows something about their genetics.

indica or sativa?

My first grow and i'm using commercial seeds. Figure i'd try that and get experience before paying big bucks for seed. Some are indica for they have large wide leafs. Some are smaller and a few look like maple leafs, cool look. any input as to what it is?

I have a black truck. Any guess what kind it is? Its got knobby tires and dirty windows.

Sorry man, your question is just way to general to even give you a ballpark guess. Basically the only thing leaves will tell you are indica/sativa, especially without any pictures I mean come on do you think there's like 3 strains of bud? There's so many other things you could tell us about it that could narrow it down (smell, size, type of high, taste, etc) but the fact that its "mid grade" there's probably no real name for it.

Yes this goes along with the other unanswerables like "how much will I yield? What's the best this or that?

Sorry man.

you can`t grow good shit with bad seeds. it was crap when you smoked it and it will be crap when you smoke it again.

Good news -- if you are moderately careful the product you grow will likely be better than the bag the seeds came from! Without fail growers of commercial Mexican reefer mistreat their product throughout the growing process. They are not affected by the quality of their product. Buyers will be there wether that load of pot was treated respectfully or kicked around. You will enjoy a better product from the same seeds if you just treat the bud correctly.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Totally false. I've never bought seeds yet, just growing bagseed for the last four years and it comes out great. Maybe not quite as good as $40 seeds bought from a seedbank, but it tastes great, has an incredible buzz and I can guarantee it's nothing like the original smoke that it came from. The crappiest beans can yield some great smoke if taken care of and nurtured properly throughout the grow. Lots of good bagseed threads on here prove my point.
