ok i was just wondering is it better to mik compost in with the soil, or layer it, o0r just have the compost on the surface? anyone know

mix some of the compost in with the soil,and then put a layer on top of the soil as a mulch to help retain moisture and keep the roots at an even temperature,
the mulch on top should be around 100 millimeters thick to work properly..

sweet cheers mate i also adding peat moss to help retain water. holy shit someone who uses millimeters good on ya every1 should
