Computer cooling fan... need to plug into wall!

I bought a square cooling fan that I'm using as intake. It uses 4.2w and 12V DC. I stripped the red and black wires and am ready to wire em up... only problem is I can't find a 12vdc power chord. I have an old 5v phone charger but I doubt that will give it enough power... Can anyone help me find the right type of power adapter for this? I don't want to go out and buy an adapter, only to wire it up and catch my house on fire lol.

Would this work? http://www.amazon.com/Power-Adapter...71939528&sr=1-2&keywords=12+volt+power+supply

I don't really know what to look for other than the 12v... not really sure what else matters. Also, I have regular wire connectors that you twist on... are these ok to use?

Yes, that would work.

It will only draw as much amperage/wattage as it needs, as long as the supply is within it's needs.

I had a 500mA driving 4x fans, and one 300mA driving one fan.

Yes that will work, as said you could always go to radio shack and buy one, the wire connecters you speak of will work fine with no worries of fire, you're only talking 12V DC.
