Looking to attend a concealed carry course and get a permit. But I've shot hand guns with my dad. 22 pistols and ruger 22 rifle.

I like semi auto pistols for concealed carry because you can leave the chamber empty but have 8 in the clip. To me a revolver is scary because theres always one in the chamber. At least you have to pull back the slide and chamber a round before you can accidentally shoot yourself
Also if you pull it out and slide one in the chamber most bad guys will run the fuck away real fast.
