So last night I transplanted my girls from 3 gallon pots up to 5 gallon pots because they were insanely rootbound, definitely should have done it sooner. The plants were originally in Roots Organic soil and I still had one bag so I decided just to pick up a bag of basic soil to mix with some perlite and a leftover bag of Roots that I had at my place. So I went to fred meyers to grab the pots and I decided to grab a bag of MiracleGro Organic Choice Garden soil. When I went home and opened the bag, the soil was all wet and it had a slight manure smell, but not a strong one. So I mixed the soil six parts Roots and two parts garden soil and then the remainder of my perlite. My concern is that since it is garden soil, not potting soil, and on the clumpy side will that hurt my plants? If there is manure will it affect them negatively? I'm in my sixth week of flowering and I don't want something to go wrong now and will replace with better soil if it's needed.
