Connecting fan and filter

Can Filter with 6" flange and Cloudline T6.
I bought the Can Fan collar thinking I could just clasp them together but the OD of the fan is more like 5 3/4"
I was thinking to buy a roll of foam tape to build to OD of the fan up so that it would close the gap a bit. What do you guys think?
I'm not sure if 6" ducting will fit over the flange either.

They have bigger than 6”ducting, I recommend whatever size will fit

Like Joe above says. Easy and quiet. Can get them at the big box stores in the plumbing section

Oh i grantee you it will do the trick. Hardware stores carry them too but they can actually cost a lot more than amazon a lot of the time.
