Unfortunately, I have returned the FCE-3000
Adjusting the dimmer, I noticed it steps/blinks in luminosity when adjusted and was slow to react. (I turn the dimmer, 1-2 seconds later it dims), which I own a TSW1000 and TSW2000, both are smooth dimming and instantly react to adjustments. They also both pull the 150 and 300 watts exactly from the same outlets.
This got me a little concerned, and expedited me to test the FCE-3000's actual draw.
I tested with a digital monitor as well as a multimeter, it's only maxing out 270ish watts, it's never consistent anywhere from 245~277 watts, and many times when turned on from being off for a while (dark cycle of 4 hours), and with the dimmer switch off / bypassed, it should be 100% direct from driver, but it's only pulling 245~250 watts consistently. Switching on the dimmer, then sweeping it to min, then max, gets it back up to 270ish most times, but again anywhere from 245~277, never exceeding 277.
Also when adjusting the dimmer,
10% is 37~43 watts, should be 27~32 watts
50% is 165~180 watts, should be 143~157 watts
100% is 245~277 watts, should be 285~315 watts

It's never consistent either, unlike the TSW1000 & TSW2000.
Further to that, looking on Amazon.ca as I processed the return, the
regular price is now $389.99, where as when I bought it a few days earlier this was
originally $479.99 before a 19% discount. (see my above post!).
I thought I was getting a really good deal here, and was one of the main decisions to purchase... now it's the regular price? That's very interesting indeed!
I hate that I have to do this, but business is business
