There are pallets loaded with plant fertilizers at my work so I grabbed a few bags for my girls. I have two main questions about this:
1. What are the correct NPK ratios for vegetative growth and flowering? I have heard 50%-15%-35% for vegetative and 25%-25%-50% for flowing and I want to verify. 5 gallon pots with Fox Farms Ocean Forest if it matters.
2. Can I mix different brands of nutrients? I assumed I could mix them proportionately according to their strengths to provide ideal NPK ratios, but again this is something I want to verify.
I have 50 pound bags of:
1-11-0
0-0-22
7-4-5
20-20-20
21-0-0
I figured I could work out ideal strengths with that assortment but I can get different nutes if necessary.
Thanks in advance.
