Cost???

I have been reading the forums for a couple of weeks and was wondering how much would it cost me to get a sog. I was thinking of going with hydroponics and was wanting two mothers with a cloning room and 6 girls growing in the flowering room. How much would it cost me to get a decent setup????

It depends on the size of your growroom really, for a veg cab you want at about 30w/sq ft. For flower you're looking at 50w/sq ft. minimum, and closer to 100w/sq ft. is ideal. So you can figure out about how much light you'll need based on the size of your growroom. As for a hydro table, that's gonna cost you...unless you look into hempy buckets, that's considerably cheaper to start. Then there's ferts, it won't cost alot to keep a few mother's going, but bloom nutes can get pricey...I'd say you're looking at $100 for a good 3-part bloom fert. Ventilation can also get costly, but that also depends on room size, and types of lights/temps. You could probably pick up a blower and a few fans for about $100.

That's just to start though, like Everready said...the sky's the limit, one day you'll think back and realize just how much money you've spent on 'supplies' Eventually you're gonna want to upgrade, so take that into consideration now...buy stuff that you won't have to replace if you do upgrade ie. good vent system, that way you can get more lights and not have to buy a new vent system.
