I was looking for a ufo led light or a similar led light and I was wondering how much power the unit actually uses.
I know they state 90 watts.. 1w x 90 led's = 90
But I also know transformers are not 100% efficient.
If the unit itself did use 90watts at the outlet, that means after conversion and energy loss, that leaves about 60 watts for the 90 led's leaving each light with .66watts instead of the 1w advertised.
Could someone out there with a UFO and a watt meter measure their light for everyone here so we could all know once and for all how powerful these lights are.
Another interesting thing to think about is, if it is infact underpowered, that means one of us could take the plunge and try "overpowering" it, bringing it up to the proper 1w each led also increasing yield.
