Could use some advice planning first grow

I have very limited space + budget and need to be semi stealth so I figured I might try to make a grow cab out if this 36" x 18" x 72" tall storage cabinet:

I was planning on growing LR #1 or 2 or any auto strain that wont grow tall. (strain reccomendations anyone?)


My question is, if I grow them in 6" 1 gal nursery pots, could I use up most of the shelf space with plants if lighting is mounted under shelving? (2 to 4 x SunBlaster 2ft Fluorescent T5 Grow Light 24w T 5 High Output)

36" x 18" = 4.5 Square feet. Could I fit 18 Plants per shelf?? What is the max I could put per shelf?

Would I be better off constructing something from scratch or buying a tent?

Any advice would be appreciated..

How high do you think even the shortest plant would grow?

In order to grow in that cupboard you would have to take the shelves out.

You could probably fit 3 - 6 plants max in that whole cupboard, depending on how much you want to cram them in. Minimum space I would give a plant is 12" x 12", even then it would be tight.
