Couple questions

Hi All,

I am at 32 days flowering 4 strains and have a couple questions if anyone has the time.

A couple specs:
2 Blue Mystic, 1 Wonder Woman, 1 LA Woman, 1 Blue Cheese.
All in soil, under a 400W Super HPS and 54W of CFLS. Temps are 74-6 ON and 60-65 OFF. Humidity is very low.. Lights off 50%, lights on about 30-20%
I am using techniflora's recipe for success at full strength every other watering.
I have been feeding every other watering since around 1 month old because they just seemed to eat it up.
I transplanted all but 1 blue mystic from 2 gallon pots into 3 gallon pots week 1 of flowering.

Just to be clear.. everything seems to be going very well considering how big/numerous the buds are, but there are a few oddities I am inexperienced on. Sorry no pics but you can guess why.

My questions:

1. ONLY the lower set of Fan Leaves on the Blue Mystic is yellowing and also has burnt edges all around. ALL other leaves are fine.
Any ideas? I suspect either nute burn or low N. If it is nute burn, should I flush? Or, should I flush anyways considering I havent yet and I am at week 4 flowering?

2. The LA woman has a general yellowish hue to the entire plant compared to the other ones. It isnt really that bad.. as it is mostly green.. but the lower leaves are more yellow than the tops.
I am thinking a mild N deficientcy? If so, how should I apply the N? I am thinking of including a 1/2 N mixture after I flush.. then the next time they are dry will be back to the full bloom mixture.
Does that sound right?

3. The other Blue Mystic and Wonder Woman are starting to develop some very small brownish spots near the tips of some of the leaves. Some of the tips are also sorta burnt, but again.. not very badly.
If that is nute burn should I flush?

4. Lots of talk of flushing.. should I just flush them anyways? Week 4 flowering and no flushing yet.

Thanks guys,

Frankly, I think it sounds like your plants just being themselves. You're using good nutes and if they are getting enough water (I'm a hydro so can't comment on that) I doubt there is a real problem. Plants are never perfect. Look closely at healthy plants outside and they have yellowing lower leaves and tiny spots too but they end up fine. When recent growth looks good, little problems here and there don't matter much unless they start spreading.

To answer question 1-2-3-4 I think you have the answer yourself. Flush.
Then assess the situation.
If your new growth seems OK, you're fine. Nothing you can do to the damage already there.
Good luck!

The tips of the leaves browning could be the first sign of slight nute burn. I would flush, back off the nutes just a little, and maybe add a bit of your vegging nutes for more nitrogen. Good luck!:peace:
