I got 3 bagseeds planted in small strofoam cups, only been in soil for 2 days, theyre about to sprout, im going to leave my house for 3-4 days, I heard you can cover the cups/pots with a bag to conceal the moisture, should I do this? if so.. is the bag supposed to be like sealed to the pot with a rubber band to keep it tight?or do i just slip the bag over the pot?
also should I keep them on the sill(thats where i have them now) or in a drawer or something?

Well you don't even need sunlight for germination.

The bag cover I have never heard of that, I just planted my seeds. They popped up and we're fine that way =).

your plant can sprout in just about any condition even in the dark. I wouldn't suggest the bag because of air issues, plants breathe too.

Ya.

Hell when i visit my plants I blow on them ladies a good few minutes, I mean it won't hurt and they breathe what we exhale. So this could be good for it ya know?

Just put them in the dirt and put them on the sill. Don't worry about a bag or any of that fancy crap. I guess the bag is supposed to make the greenhouse effect? All I could see the bag doing is suffocating the plant. Like clippy said, plants breathe too.

yea, i was thinknig of doing this because i was worried the soil will get dry in 3.5 days as they are only in 6oz cups and i live in a very dry desert with low humidity do you think it will dry out in 3-4 days?

again the reason i was thinking of putting the bag over it is because I will be gone for a few days and im worried about the soil drying out

eh i guess ill just drench them in water before i leave or something
